Research Activities
1). UK research team has successfully secured a Bournemouth University’s fully-funded studentship to investigate character modeling.
2). Mr. Chaudhry's visit to State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, China from 28 July to 08 August 2011.
3). Dr. You's and Mr. Chaudhry's visit to State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, China from 18 February to 01 March 2012.
4). UK and Chinese research teams completed a joint paper "Ordinary differential equation based skin deformation for animated characters".
5). UK research team published a paper "An analytical approach to dynamic skin deformation of character animation" in the Book published by Springer.
6). Chinese research team published a paper "Enhancing the symmetry and proportion of 3D face geometry" in IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
7). Joined by the UK team, Chinese research team has successfully secured a grant of 800, 000 Yuan from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
8). Prof. Zhang's visit to State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, China from 4th April 2012 to 20th April 2012.
9). Dr. You's visit to State Key Lab of CAD&CG, Zhejiang University, China from 23rd September 2012 to 12th October2012.
10). Funded by China Scholarship Council through its PhD studentships, the UK research team has recruited a PhD student to investigate facial modeling and animation.
11). Mr. Siwang Li’s and Shufang Lu’s visit to the National Centre for Computer Animation, Bournemouth University, UK from 1st July 2013 to 31st July 2013.
